Settled in the 1850s as a logging camp, there is no town center or even any shops here, although there are several great wineries and an airport! Bonny Doon was named in 1880 by a group of spiritualist families.
Beautiful backroads will take you all the way to Bonny Doon State Beach (check your map carefully as it is easy to take wrong turns). Roads from Felton, Ben Lomond and Boulder Creek all have routes to
Bonny Doon.
